STATUS: Non-Exempt/Hourly
REPORTS TO: Program Attorney
POSITION SUMMARY:
Gathers, organizes and prepares course and grant materials. Ensures execution of courses and special projects as assigned. Maintains faculty and course rosters and course schedules. Travels as necessary to troubleshoot and assist with successful execution of courses.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Gathers, organizes and improves upon course mate! rials ensuring accurate and timely completion.
Ensures eff! icient execution of courses and special projects, traveling as necessary.
Confirms faculty for courses, printing applicable biographies.
Communicates with off-site hotels in ensuring all logistical arrangements are accurate and timely.
Maintains and distributes faculty rosters ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Produces and maintains course schedule.
Coordinates audio-visual needs for courses.
Produces Faculty and Discussion Leader packets as needed.
Accurately codes and processes bills, consultant fees, and costing forms.
Verifies payment of all course expenses.
Troubleshoots and assists faculty and participants during courses with their needs.
Monitors classroom activity.
Provides administrative support to the Program Attorney as necessary.
Continually upholds the NJC Values of courage, integrity, commitment, respect and excellence.
MARGINAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Arranges and facilitates conference calls.
Assi! sts in all areas of the Academic Department and special projects as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
Paralegal experience preferred.
Outstanding written and verbal communications skills with the ability to express ideas clearly and concisely.
Extensive experience and knowledge of word processing with Microsoft Word scheduling with Microsoft Outlook. Microsoft PowerPoint, Access and Excel experience is preferred.
Professional appearance and demeanor and diplomacy skills enabling the person to relate well with individuals at all levels.
Positive attitude and demeanor, and excellent organization and time management skills are required.
Flexibility enabling the ability to handle multiple priorities and additional ability to adjust to high pressure and rapidly changing business conditions.
An ability to work with a minimum of supervision.
