Guidelines International Ministries shines the light of the Gospel in places of spiritual darkness through audio messages that encourage, equip, and bring hope in Jesus to new believers, the unreached and those under persecution.

WHAT WE HAVE ACCOMPLISHED

Guidelines has been engaged in transforming lives with the message of Jesus since 1963, when Dr. Harold Sala first began broadcasting Guidelines for Living, a daily five-minute devotional which was the first radio program of its kind. Now 60 years later, Guidelines International Ministries is in its second generation, broadcasting on a global scale, led by Bonnie Sala.

Through the support of missional Christ-followers, Guidelines has:

  • Created and produced over 5,000 biblical, inspirational audio and video messages that are broadcast by radio networks and internet partners in the U.S. and around the world.
  • Expanded distribution of audio and videos on social media, email and podcast subscription and made them available on seven global online streaming platforms.
  • Translated the life-giving devotionals into 25+ languages that are spoken by over 3.6 billion people.
  • Partnered to establish five community radio stations in countries where the gospel is inaccessible to most people and distributed hundreds of solar powered radios/audio Bibles to those who could not afford them.

CORE ROLE

As a Content Marketing Coordinator, you will play a vital role in telling impactful stories and bringing the mission field experience to individuals who have a heart and passion for the Great Commission. but are unable to be vocational missionaries themselves.

Working closely with the marketing director, donor development team, and creative team, you will utilize the power of storytelling to craft compelling monthly email campaigns, social media posts, articles, videos, and more.

Your role will involve developing and maintaining a comprehensive content calendar and promotional calendar, ensuring strategic planning and coordination of marketing activities. Collaboration with the marketing director to align messaging and campaigns will be essential.

Storytelling and Content Creation:

  • Utilize your exceptional storytelling skills to create compelling written and visual content that effectively communicates the mission and impact of the ministry and stays in line with the ministry’s voice.
  • Craft engaging narratives that highlight the experiences of ministry partners and the transformative power of Jesus in places of spiritual darkness and cultural oppression.
  • Create and curate captivating content for monthly campaigns, social media posts, articles, videos, and other formats.

Content and Promotional Calendar Management:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive content calendar and promotional calendar, ensuring strategic planning and coordination of marketing activities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing director to align messaging, campaigns, and promotional efforts for maximum impact.
  • Monitor and optimize content performance based on analytics and feedback, making data-driven adjustments as necessary.

Blog and YouTube Optimization:

  • Apply basic SEO best practices to optimize blog content and YouTube videos, enhancing visibility and driving organic traffic to increase reach and engagement.
  • Conduct keyword research and implement optimization techniques to improve search rankings and maximize exposure.

Analysis and Reporting:

  • Conduct content analysis to track and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Utilize analytics tools and data-driven insights to refine content strategies, improve engagement, and achieve organizational goals.
  • Generate regular reports to evaluate the performance of content marketing efforts and provide recommendations for improvement.

Collaboration and Coordination:

  • Collaborate with the marketing director, donor development team, and creative team to ensure brand consistency, messaging alignment, and visual cohesiveness across all marketing materials.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and ministry partners to gather relevant information, stories, and data, ensuring accuracy and impactful content creation.
  • Support donor development efforts by providing storytelling content for fundraising campaigns, newsletters, and donor communications.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Familiarity with the principles of Storybrand and Break Through Advertising
  • Understanding of digital marketing principles
  • Proven experience in content creation, storytelling, and content marketing, preferably within the non-profit or ministry sector.
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills, with a keen ability to craft compelling narratives.
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles and experience in optimizing blog content and YouTube videos for increased visibility.
  • Proficiency in content analysis and using data-driven insights to inform content strategy and decision-making.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and best practices for engagement and community building.
  • Passion for missions and a heart to share the Gospel with individuals living in places of spiritual darkness.
  • Cultural sensitivity and an understanding of diverse global contexts.

RATE: $25 - $40 / hour (based on skills) - Part-time position with potential to grow into a full-time role
