Attorney hired will be working on motor vehicle accident defense matters involving personal injury and p! roperty damage claims. Great experience for an attorney looking to do arbitrations and jury trials. Attorney hired will be responsible for handling and managing litigation files from inception through trial.
A fair amount of autonomy to manage cases and direct contact with multiple parties involved in each case will be given with access to a managing attorney for consultation and assistance. The right attorney must be: Organized Work well under pressure Comfortable handling a caseload with limited supervision Able to follow directions and adhere to office protocol Able to work in a small office environment Able to maintain detailed up to date records Able to work collaboratively with team members and cordially with opposing counsel who will often not be so easy to work with able to effectively understand and utilize technology and automation resources Personally commitment to professional development Able to try cases through to verdict as a first-chair trial attor! ney Able to fax and make a phone call or prepare a production ! without the assistance of a secretaryRequirements: Nevada state bar license in good standing â€" include your bar number on your resume submitted Available to work office hours, at a minimum, of 8:30 am-5:30 pm Monday thru Friday (additional work hours required during training and trial periods) At least 3 years of LITIGATION experience in personal injury/ insurance defense â€" this experience MUST be in this field and should be highlighted in cover letter submitted with application Benefits offered: Medical & Dental Plans and Flexible Spending account 401(k) Retirement Plan Company paid STD/LTD Company paid life insurance Paid time off packet Holiday Pay Please submit resume with cover letter
