Akerman Senterfitt seeks an experienced mortgage servicing or mortgage origination compliance attorney with a minimum of 5 years of experience for its consumer finance litigation & ! compliance practice group. Financial institution compliance experience, with a focus on federal and state laws and regulations governing loan servicing and foreclosure process operations is required. The ideal candidate will have excellent research and writing skills as well as a thorough understanding of the substantive requirements of federal law including, but not limited to TILA, RESPA, and FDCPA. Prior in-house experience is preferred.
This position can be located in Dallas, Denver, Florida, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York or Salt Lake City.
