Job Responsibilities
Individual will function as a Project Planning Analyst to develop and document project planning and budgeting assumptions for the implementation of a District Attorney Case Management System.
Core Competency:
Must be well versed in project planning with experience implementing 3rd party IT software solutions. Experience with developing project planning deliverables for major projects including but not limited to experience with the following:
Project Scope Statement and Project Work Breakdown Structure
Project Activity and Deliverables Lists
Project Activity Resource Requirements and Resource Breakdown Structure
Project Activity Duration Estimates and Project Schedule
Project Activity Cost Estimates
Project Cost Baseline and Funding Requirements
Project Roles and Responsibilities
Project Organization and Staffing Chart! s
Project Planning Analyst
Job Requirements
R! equired Skills/Duties
Responsible for day-to-day administration of the project planning process with assistance from IT Program Management staff and business stakeholders.
Manages the planning activities to ensure on-time completion of project planning tasks and deliverables as scheduled.
Provides leadership for customers, professionals and technical staff to gather input for the creation of the project planning deliverables.
Drafts project planning deliverables and reviews with stakeholders for acceptance
Demonstrates professional organization, documentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze issues, identify options, and recommend practical course of action.
Strong working knowledge of applications development methodologies.
Maintains and communicates accurate status of work performed.
Special Skills:
BS or BA degree, PMP strongly desired.
Knowledge and experience with 3rd party system implem! entation methodologies and the software implementation project life cycle.
Justice case management system implementation experience desired.
Knowledge and experience with project planning, resource estimating, project scheduling and project budgeting processes required.
Knowledge of operation of personal computers, standard office software, and project planning tools required.
