Job Summary:
The Customer Service Representative handles collision service needs in AutoNation Dealerships without a collision repair facility. The Customer Service Representative writes courtesy estimates, coordinates repair needs for dealership associates, and updates appropriate customers, staff with repair status of vehicles.
Job Responsibilities:
oWrites professional estimate on light damaged vehicles
oActively asks for the sale on all estimates
oUnderstands basi! c parameters of insurance programs e.g., DRP and non-DRP
o! Obtain all signatures, work authorizations and powers of attorney
oCommunicates with each customer on the process of the vehicle repair in a timely and effective manner, as outlined in AutoNation's Customer Repair 10 Step Process
oReview all final bills, supplements and vehicles prior to customer contact for delivery
oReview the completed vehicle to check quality and thoroughness
oMaintains work area in an orderly and clean manner
oTakes care to protect customer's vehicles during repair process
oWorks with other associates on daily planning and release meetings
oTracks production schedule for his or her vehicle's and communicates those targets with customers and other associates
oUses the highest standard in professionalism when dealing with customers, insurance representatives, vendors and associates
oMaintains continual industry education to keep abreast of changes in repair requirements and product knowledge
oResponsible for collec! tion of Accounts Receivable on all insurance, wholesale account closed and commission paid
oDemonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company's Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and suppliers
oAdheres to all company policies, procedures and safety standards Required Experience Qualifications:
oMust meet company's requirements for employment
oAbility to comprehend and read instructions
oBasic knowledge of vehicle repairs practices
oValid in-state driver's license
oAbility to interpret work scope from vehicle estimates or work orders
oProfessional appearance
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
oAbility to operate an automobile
oAbility to stand, walk and/or sit for prolonged periods
oAbility to work in various working conditions both indoors and outdoors, including but not limited to extreme heat and/or cold, and rain
oAbility to kneel, bend, and reach above the s! houlders
