  • Job Summary:* Working as part of our manufacturing team, this position will monitor, and reconcile processes and labor operations within the Jeeves shop floor control environment. This individual will focus on validating correct and complete documentation and input of labor, machine, and work center times into the Jeeves Shop Floor System. Additionally, working with the production and planning teams, the manufacturing admin will book, print, and monitor dates for manufacturing orders on a daily basis. Additionally, working with the Jeeves Graphic Scheduling program, the manufacturing admin will maintain schedule date integrity for the manufacturing areas and generate reports on schedule completion.
  • Examples of Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*
  • Working in the Jeeves environment, book, print, and route manufacturing orders
  • Maintain Manufacturing Order (MO) date integrity in daily schedule and in Jeeves Graphical Scheduling program
  • Coordinate daily schedule with warehouse, planning, quality, and manufacturing team
  • Assist in planning preventive maintenance
  • Collect and reconcile labor and machine time accrued by each manufacturing work center
  • Develop and maintain knowledge pertaining to cGMPs and internal SOPs
  • Work proactively with operations, IT, Facilities, Manufacturing, and other internal customers to communicate daily productivity numbers
  • Assist in the development of individual product labor rates and standards, as well as, machine and work center rates and standards
  • Maintain required paperwork and logs associated with the department
  • Create and maintain project files including specifications, timelines, and completion lists
  • Assist in refining manufacturing instructions
  • Communicate with the Production Manager, Manufacturing Supervisors, IT, Facilities Maintenance, and Planning regarding daily operations
  • Assist the VP of Manufacturing with data tracking and reporting
  • Desired Skills:*
  • Ability to communicate both written and orally with all levels of the organization
  • Read, write, speak, and comprehend English
  • Comprehend basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and efficient use of a calculator
  • Team Oriented â€" being helpful, respectful, approachable, building strong working relationships and a positive work environment, is responsible, honest, loyal, interacts with others tactfully, resolves conflicts appropriately, and adapts to change
  • Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally within the organization
  • Ability to give positive suggestions to improve operations in the work center
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Must have good work ethics, be highly motivated, and be a hands-on problem solver
  • Ability to detect, recognize, and judge discrepancies
  • Requires accuracy, reliability, attention to detail, as well as, analytical and planning skills
  • High school diploma or GED, and/or 2 â€" 4 years work experience in an accounting or manufacturing office environment
  • Physical Demands:*
  • Vision, hearing, and speaking to meet performance standard
  • Required to sit for long periods of time
  • Required to use keyboard and mouse to navigate software programs for long periods
  • Ability to safely lift 5 pounds on a regular basis and up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis
  • Work Environment:*
  • Typical manufacturing environment with moderate level noise
