Description: AmeriCorps is presently looking of Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada - Volunteer Liaison right now, this position will be depute in Nevada. For detail informations about this position opportunity kindly read the description below. Member Duties : The Volunteer Liaison will work very closely with the Pro Bono Project Director, Pro Bono Project Volunteer Coordinator, and Project administrative staff and will report to the Pro Bono Project Director. One of the Volunteer Liaison’s main duties will be to maintain regular contact with Project volunteers. Additionally, the Volunteer Liaison will work on projects to improve the supports and resources available to volunteers, such as updating the website, developing a volunteer manual, developing a volunteer survey, etc. The Volunteer Liaison will also assist with the coordination of the Project’s six Ask-A-Lawyer clinic programs, recruiting, scheduling, reminding, and thanking volunteers and maintaining program statistics. The Volunteer Liaison will assist Project staff in putting on its large annual volunteer awards luncheon and will maintain contact with Project clients awaiting placement with volunteer attorneys.
