Chapman Law Firm is an AV rated firm seeking a full-time (Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm) legal secretary in its Reno, Nevada, office. This is a fast paced litigation firm that practice! s primarily eminent domain law and other related complex civil litigation matters.
The position requires strong organizational skills. Tasks will include assisting attorneys and paralegals, basic drafting of letters and pleadings, answering phones, greeting clients, technical support, calendaring, logging received mail, mailing documents, office filing, filing documents with the Court, handling office projects, and other secretarial tasks.
Previous experience working in a law office is desired. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and have experience filing documents using electronic filing systems at State and Federal courts.
