Responsibilities:
Leadership and oversight of a Market Claim Office; manage Human Resources

Create an environment that inspires and rewards the use of good judgment to provide excellent customer service

Foster teamwork and collaboration throughout the organization

Implement and execute effective processes to achieve performance goals

Ensure ongoing compliance with policies, processes and reporting requirements

Mode! l behavior supporting ongoing organizational changes

Administer Human Resources policies

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 yrs of experience leading an Auto Liability/ Casualty Market Claim Office OR extensive knowledge and experience within the Nevada market place or other complex markets â€" Attorney Represented/Litigation experience specifically

Experience handling Auto Liability and/or Casualty Claims

Candidates must have excellent verbal/written communication skills, time management skills, and outstanding customer service skills

Advanced knowledge of Claim/Company policies, procedures, and organization

The ability to resolve escalated claim issues and customer service concerns promptly

Advanced organizational and leadership skills

Strong logical, analytical and problem solving skills

Adv! anced planning, development and implementation skills

Experience with metrics and business analytics

Advanced technology skills

Bachelor’s degreepreferred

Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply

This position is open for relocation for qualified candidates

Level Factors:
Analytical/Technical Skills:
Application of broadly defined analytical methods and concept to analyze and interpret data to make general assumptions and implement action plans. Ability to leverage specialized technical skills to achieve division objectives.

Auto Technical Background preferred but not required:
Understanding of Auto Claim handling Best Practices. Auto technical education or related experience. ICAR designations a plus

Communications Skills:
Strong communication skills are required to compose complex business letters and memos, and to present detailed information to others.
Job complexity:
Develop solutions to complex issues ! that require use of creativity and a unique approach to resolution.

Decision Making:
Recommends actions for processes or programs. Ability to implement strategic and business direction along with appropriate processes to develop and/or deliver products and services.

Contacts:
Contacts are varied both within and outside the organization. Explain and discuss difficult information to influence, gain acceptance and approval of ideas, proposals, and solutions.

Scope and Impact:
Achievement of results an important influence on the attainment of unit and department objectives.

Management Guidance Received:
Assigned general objectives and projects. Usually knows how to proceed but may sometimes be directed concerning priorities.
