This job will have the following responsibilities:
This position is a key member of the engineering team responsible for managing the design and installation of ! all the packaging lines and process operations upgrades. Be the resident expert and/or the go to person for answers on a various, simultaneous portions of the project installation Be familiar with corporate and plant standards for various types of machinery and process equipment so as to specify the equipment required to cost effectively meet safety, quality and production needs. Effectively identify and manage design firms to meet scope, timing and cost constraints of the project. Reviewing design documents with an understanding of the required deliverables relative to: safety requirements, quality & hygienic requirements, capability and capacity deliverables, material flow, logistics issues, maintenance & maintainability requirements, and sustainability considerations. Manage a project time line, effectively identifying scope with all stake holders and juggling priorities. Provide general engineering support to the operations team.
Qualifications & Requirement! s:
BS in an Engineering discipline required. Preferabl! y Electrical or Mechanical with a minimum of three (3) years of related manufacturing plant and/or project experience. continuous improvement preferred such as six sigma or TPM. Working with self-managed work teams. Food/Beverage manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to work with and lead teams comprised of internal & external resources. ability to communicate effectively with all levels of plant personnel. Looking for Utility experience (ammonia systems, boilers)
